The pillows are filled with flaxseed, an oil-filled seed that enables them to hold their heat when microwaved. Depending on the desired aroma of each pillow, herbs, dried flowers, dried fruits, and essential oils are combined with the flaxseed. Since heating Lavish Aromas' pillows can soften the scent over time, each pillow comes with a vial of essential oil to refresh the fragrance.
